About Today's Tour
Today (2/25), Iriomotejima Island was chock-full of rain.
The temperature was a high of 21°C (70°F) and a low of 21°C (70°F). Although the numbers alone indicate a warm day, the rain and wind made it feel cooler than it actually was.
Since it is easy to get cold after getting wet, a light jacket and rain gear (rain jacket) are recommended before and after the tour.
The wind was from the north-northeast (up to 6 m/s), and the sea was choppy with waves 2.5 m/s.
Although the water level was slightly higher at 5 meters, we were able to conduct the entire tour without any problems.
Even if it rains, the underwater environment is beautiful without any problems, so snorkeling tours are recommended if it is only a light rain.
